Physiotherapy can play a vital part in relieving your pain. Here at Braintree, Halstead and Haverhill Physiotherapy Clinic, we pride ourselves on our ability to diagnose and successfully treat a wide range of musculoskeletal conditions.
Physiotherapy helps to restore movement and function when someone is affected by injury, illness or disability. Our highly skilled Physiotherapists use an extremely wide range of skills and techniques to help you lead a pain-free life, which can include a combination of the following:
• Taping and/or Strapping
• Shockwave Therapy
• Bespoke Home Exercises
Our team of physiotherapists have the required expertise and knowledge to help you back on the road to recovery. Some people might not realise they could benefit from physiotherapy treatment, so if you suffer from any of the symptoms listed on this page, we can help free you of those aches and pains.
Although it is possible to refer yourself to the clinic, our physiotherapists work closely with General Practitioners (Doctors) in the local area. They also have links with Consultants at hospitals in the surrounding areas.
Prior to your first appointment you will be asked to sign a consent form to confirm that you agree for your problem to be assessed. All discussions and records are in the strictest of confidence.
During the initial consultation, your problem will be assessed and diagnosis made. This will involve a thorough examination and the physiotherapist will explain the procedure fully. Plastic models may be used to explain your condition and a treatment regime will be suggested. You are entitled to refuse any part of the treatment without prejudice in the future. The sessions will last approximately thirty minutes.
